Owners Sally and Pete have re-created this quirky circa 1900’s building.
The location historically held the town’s first school house, later an independent grocery called the Red and White. Since the 1930’s it also served as a three unit apartment building. When Sally first toured it she had a vision to re-develop the property which sits across from the historic Paper Goods Pond. Her vision quickly became reality. Pond View Retreat is a charming and comfortable temporary housing option for the business and vacation traveler. Attention to details and amenities truly make these casual one bedroom apartments your “home away from home”

Pond View Retreat I wasn’t even completed when they had their first check in. Demand has remained steady with visitors from many countries. People coming in to visit family. Florida snowbirds returning over the summer. Medical professionals such as travel nurses in need furnished housing in the Central Connecticut area.
